Thursday Night division rivals the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs went head-to-head in a thrilling matchup that came down to the last second.
The Raiders stunned the Chiefs with a 31-30 win Thursday night to snap their four-game losing streak and improve to 3-4 on the season. The Chiefs, on the other hand, find themselves at 5-2 after dropping their second straight game.
The matchup was a back-and-forth offensive display from start to finish and ended in exciting fashion.
Derek Carr led an 85-yard touchdown drive with 2:25 seconds left in the game to cap off a thrilling comeback. He threw a 2-yard pass to Michael Crabtree in the end zone on the last play of the game after Oakland’s drive was extended by two defensive penalties from Kansas City.
After a poor performance in Week 6, in which Carr threw just one touchdown and two interceptions, he bounced back with an exceptional 417-yard, three-touchdown game with no INTs.
For anyone who missed the opening game to Week 7, here’s the video of the Raiders’ game-winning TD.
