The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 4-1 thanks to a walk-off home run from Justin Turner.
L.A. is up 2-0 in the NLCS after beating the Cubs in walk-off fashion courtesy of Justin “Mr. Clutch” Turner.
In the bottom of the ninth inning with runners on first and second and down to the final out, Turner stepped up and hit a three-run bomb to end the game and send the Dodgers to Chicago undefeated in the postseason.
Turner’s blast came on the 29th anniversary of Kirk Gibson’s game-winning World Series home run because baseball of course.
Game 2 proved to be a pitcher’s duel with the Dodgers only giving up one run on three hits and the Cubs gave up only five hits and four runs after Turner’s Bomb.
Mr. Clutch didn’t just win the game for L.A., he punched in all four of the Dodgers’ runs on 2-for-4 hitting.
L.A. has displayed come-from-behind heroics all season and every game someone new has stepped up. But if you ask any Dodger, they all want to see Turner at the plate with the game on the line knowing he will come through.
