Lonzo proves his value by going 3-0 in Lakers’ first scrimmages

The Los Angeles Lakers held their first team scrimmages in practice and Lonzo showed why he’s already the team’s MVP.

We all saw how valuable Lonzo Ball is in Summer League as he helped lead the Lakers to the Las Vegas tournament title.

Now with just one day of scrimmages in the books, L.A. has an even better understanding of just how good Lonzo is, and will be for the Lakers.

In the team’s first scrimmages Ball’s squad went 3-0 where he was the only starter. A scrimmage lineup of Lonzo, Vander Blue, Corey Brewer, Kyle Kuzma and Thomas Bryant went undefeated in practice against L.A.’s projected starters.

Of course, this is just practice and Lonzo is playing against his fellow teammates, but he’s adding to his legend and making an even bigger impression on his coaches.

Ball’s ability to make the game easier for those around him and win with anyone proves he’s going to make the Lakers better than anyone realizes immediately.

There will definitely be a learning curve for Lonzo especially in a brutal Western Conference, but Lonzo has a gift that’s undeniable that L.A. is ready to unleash.

Get your popcorn ready. Lonzo is about to Ball and the Lakers are headed back to glory with him leading the way.
