Los Angeles Dodgers vs Atlanta Braves Game 2 Recap

Final score: 4-0, Dodgers.

The Los Angeles Dodgers continued their series with the Atlanta Braves last night as Clayton Kershaw took the mound. Kershaw was his brilliant self once again, but didn’t have as many strikeouts as he usually. He went six full innings, allowing zero runs off three hits while striking out four and walking one; he left the game with a small 1-0 lead.
The bullpen came in again and pitched very well. Joe Blanton, Pedro Baez & Kenley Jansen all pitched a scoreless inning.

The offense started the game slow but scored three insurance runs for the Dodgers in the 8th inning. Trayce Thompson continues to impress showing off his speed last night with three stolen bases.

Game Analysis:

The Dodgers have already won the series and they have a chance to complete the sweep against Atlanta Sunday. Scott Kazmir  will get the start against Braves’ Matt Wisler.
