Final score: 1-0, Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers started a series with the Cincinnati Reds last night. Clayton Kershaw got the nod, looking to extend the Dodgers winning streak. Once again, Kershaw did not disappoint in his outing. He pitched a complete game shutout (his third of the season) while striking out seven batters and only allowing two hits and one walk.
The offense didn’t help pick Kershaw up in this game. In fact, Kershaw recorded the Dodgers first hit himself. L.A. could only muster up one run off a double play ball hit by Howie Kendrick.Today the Dodgers will continue the series with the Reds. Ross Stripling was originally supposed to start, but he was sent down and Mike Bolsinger will get the start.
