Los Angeles Dodgers vs Cincinnati Reds Game 3 Recap

Final Score: 3-1, Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds squared off for the last game of series with the Dodgers looking to complete a sweep at home. Scott Kazmir got the start for L.A. and did not disappoint. He pitched a total of six innings, recording a season-high 12 strikeouts while only allowing one run on four hits and two walks.
The bullpen also had another immaculate night as well. Luis Coleman and Pedro Baez held the Reds hitless and Kenley Jansen shut the place down with his 14th save this season. Even though Reds pitcher Daniel Straily held the Dodgers to just three hits, the offense was able to capitalize on the opportunities they were given.

It was nice to see the Dodgers complete their second sweep of the season at home and hopefully, they can bring the momentum of their current four-game winning streak with them when they travel to play the New York Mets this weekend.
The next game for L.A. will be Friday. Alex Wood is scheduled to start against Mets’ Jacob deGrom.

Dodgers RBIs
Joc Pederson 2 (24)
Yasmani Grandal 1 (14)
Dodgers Home Runs
