Los Angeles Dodgers vs St. Louis Cardinals Game 3 Recap

The Los Angeles Dodgers played the finale of a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Alex Wood started for Los Angeles last night, giving them six strong innings and only allowing one run.

JP Howell came in after Louis Coleman and allowed a hit, which led to a two-run double by Yadier Molina, putting the Dodgers down for good.

The Dodgers couldn’t complete the sweep but they succeeded in getting the series win.

One of the most promising outcomes from the series was Corey Seager’s offense which seems to be heating up, including two home runs in yesterday’s loss.

With the Cardinals win, the Dodgers have been pushed to second place as the San Francisco Giants swept the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Dodgers will start a new series today with the Los Angeles Angels. Kenta Maeda will get the call against Matt Shoemaker as the Dodgers try to get back into the win column.
