New York Mets vs Los Angeles Dodgers Game 3 Recap

Final Score: 4-2, Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers played the season finale against the New York Mets Sunday night. Dodgers ace, Clayton Kershaw, got the start in the last game of the series. Kershaw had his usual dominant pitching performance. Through 7 2/3 innings, he allowed two earned runs, four hits and had ten strikeouts.

Adrian Gonzalez was the night’s hero, hitting a single off of Mets’ Jeurys Familia with the bases loaded in the 9th putting the Dodgers to up 4-2.  and Gonzales seems to have found his stride again hitting at .299.

Game Analysis:

Kershaw pitched great once again and Gonzales seems to have found his stride hitting at .299. It was a frustrating move when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts put in Adam Liberatore rather than Kenley Jansen in the 8th inning with a one-run lead, resulting in Kershaw being robbed of a win after another spectacular performance.

The Dodgers will head off to Chicago this week to start a four-game series. Alex Wood will start tomorrow after missing his original start on Friday.

Dodgers RBIs

Justin Turner 1 (16)

Adrian Gonzalez 3 (26)
