The Raiders’ inconsistency costs them another loss in Week 8

The Oakland Raiders just can’t find their groove and they find themselves at 3-5 after a Week 8 loss.

In a year of high expectations and hope for a deep playoff run the Raiders’ season has been anything but worthy.

After starting 2-0 Oakland lost four straight, two of which were with Derek Carr under center before his back injury.

Just a week after Carr and the Raiders’ thrilling Thursday Night Football win over the Kansas City Chiefs it looked like Oakland was turning a corner on their season. Instead, they suffered a 20-point loss to the Buffalo Bills Week 8 due to sloppy play.

Carr only threw one touchdown to go along with two interceptions and the Raiders also lost two fumbles for a total of four turnovers on the day.

Oakland may catch a break Week 9 when they take on the Miami Dolphins but they have a tough battle ahead to salvage the season.

It seems as if the Raiders’ hopes for this year are lost but if they can rally behind one another they still have a chance at a respectable year–they’re too talented not to.
